Hello again,
It is a time tested feature that works very well for the people who have it already implemented.
We are always looking at good ways to integrate our products and I am hopeful that we will be able to give you a solution in the future that is more suited to your requests.
Best,
JHi Marshall,
Thank you for the feature in put and the clear description.
I will add it to the suggestion box!

JonHi George,
You can absolutely add another interface to the TB3 pass-through port.
Now, that doesn’t mean that they will show up as a single interface – It will just show up as a separate device, BUT it is completely useable. You would still have to connect the audio between them, either virtually in software or between the hardware audio ports. Like ADAT<->ADAT…Good luck!
Jon
Hi everyone,
For SRC, you need a expansion card interface – so the AX Center and an SRC card is needed.
There is no SRC on the Core256.Best,
JOK, good info!
I’m putting this into the Bug Hotel! 🙂

Hi Tom,
Honestly – no. 🙂
I will bring it up with the Devs and see if this is known behaviour.
In the meantime, if you could try and clone the older profiles to see if the behavior carries over ?Best,
Jon
DAD SupportHi Marcus,
Thank you for your input – It’s a common request and something that is always on our radar.
Feel free to always send your ideas this way and I will add them to the conversation.
(I naturally cannot comment on running development.)All the best,
Jon

Thanks for that input! – It’s a good idea that has popped up from time to time and I’ve added your vote to the wishing scroll outside The Wizard’s Lair.
Have a great day.

DAD Specialist and Support Elf.Hi,
Thanks for reaching out.
The short version is that you can’t and your issues caused by this are correct.
There is no workaround I can offer you, I’m afraid. The PRE/MIDI implementation is a feature that there are no current plans to expand or update.DADMan control is always the way to go in our world.
Best,
Jon
DAD Specialist and SupportThe limitation of the implementations is 256 I and O channels, so you can not get more channels than this, and you can not daisy chain unit to get more channels, unless you create an aggrigate in core audio.
It seems to me that you are struggling with the DADman software. Avid have a lot of ressources available online to get you going:
YouTube playlist:
DUC thread:
MTRX Family Devices: Start Here! – Avid Pro Audio Community
If that does not get you going, then please contact your Avid reseller or Avid directly.
It is correct the MTRX II has 128 channels. Be aware that the channel count depends on the sample rate so it is 128 ch. at 48 kHz, 64 ch. at 96 kHz, 32 ch. at 192 kHz and 16 ch. at 384 kHz.
I suggest you contact Avid or your Avid reseller for further clarification and support.
All DAD products with SPQ capability (Core 256, AX Center, AX64 and SPQ card) provide 128 ch. of EQ at 48 kHz.
Avid MTRX Studio is hardware-wise limited to 16 channels of EQ.
If you have a DAD product and need help with EQ then please send an e-mail to support@ntp.dk with details of which DAD hardware you use, and please also include your monitor profile (.dmprof) file.
Happy New Year to you all.
Momentary talkback was implemented in DADman 5.7.0.1 which is available from the Download section.
MTRX cards, irrespective of the type of card, only work in MTRX and MTRX II.
