      Jon,

this workflow kind of ties into the other thread I just replied to where utilizing the Control Pack/Routing presets as Sends/Returns vs using cues. Being able to do this in the Control Pack keeps your monitor control section of DAD a lot less cluttered and makes trouble shooting things a lot simpler. I went down the rabbit hole settings up multiple cues for hardware sends and returns and doing this work was way more simpler in the Routing Preset but unfortunately only limited to just 4 sources.

Jon, I first learned about the Control Pack and routing presets at Namm this year and got the demo on how it’s being used/triggered for live sound. I was previously using multiple custom cues in DAD for routing to and from my various outboard gear. Once I wrapped my head around the Control Pack/Routing Preset workflow I found that to be a really slick and convenient way to route audio for my outboard gear. I have various routing presets setup to pretty much route any digital or analog signal throughout my studio very conveniently.

I still have a lot more stuff I need to setup but this is what I had to setup so far.

You can see where adding more sources for this workflow will be extremely helpful if you look at the Control Pack/Routing Presets workflow as sends and returns.

One more note is the MTRX is setup with the SPQ card, 2 ch mic pre card, and 64ch Dante Module.

Any updates on this topic? I have been experiencing similar issues on Catalina with every version of DADman in the past year. I have just been manually launching DADman and it works most of the time but sometimes the software will just launch and do not see any of the GUI.
