Hello,
It would be great if the DAD could work in emulation mode, like a Yamaha Rio, so that we could control the preamp from a Yamaha mixing console, or at least an emulation of the Yamaha AD8HR

Hi there!
Yes, that would be cool.
I wouldn’t hold my breath unless all the console manufacturers suddenly want to start opening up their protocols for external hardware control,
But, hey – I can also dream and sometimes if we all dream together, good things can happen ! (But, like I said, I wouldn’t hold my breath..)

Not out of the realm of possibility. The Focusrite MP8R units are able to be controlled by most of the high end Yamaha Consoles. Along with a handful of wireless units from their consoles. It would be cool to have this on the DAD products. But I would want them to make it easier for the Mic Pres to be controlled just outside of DADman before having control from a third party console.
Definitely not out of realm by any means.
Getting companies to do it ? Another challenge.
We are up for the challenge!
The future is a nice place when we work together.
