Driver Only Loads When DAD AX64 is Powered On

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with my DAD AX64. The driver only loads correctly if I turn on the DAD AX64 after starting my system. If I restart macOS Sonoma 14.7.6 with the DAD already powered on, or if I boot the system while the DAD was previously on, the driver does not load.

Currently, the only workaround is to either power cycle the DAD AX64 or disconnect and reconnect the Thunderbolt cable. This is inconvenient, and I would like to know if there is a solution or update to fix this behavior.

Hi David,

This most likely has to do with MacOS Permissions.

Please delete your “DADDriverSetup” app from the applications folder and reinstall the Thunderbolt driver package from our support website.
(Remember to log in)
– also, check if you have the latest software, firmware and Dante Updater while your there anyway.

When you reinstall the Thunderbolt driver, your machine should ask for permissions to connect to Thunderbolt in a separate window. Make sure you go to the Settings Window and agree to this, so the permission will be permanent.
