I am SO sorry that we spaced on this one – Especially because the answer is so neat and easy to create.
Since this is now an ancient post, I am sure you’ve already found the answer yourself, but for good measure here it is:
What you want to do is to create a custom output format that fits your exact monitor system, so if your system is a 7.2, don’t go with the 7.1 preset.
– In Group Formats, create a custom group format that has all you need – in your case it’s a 7ch tops with 2 LFE – which you will just specify in the dialog for the custom format.
– Use that format for your Monitor Output, activate Bass Management and you will see that you have two subs.
